PROTECTING COMMUNITIES
Developed in partnership with the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass), the University of Maryland and Facebook, the panel used data self-reported by users of the social network to monitor symptoms and behaviors related to COVID-19. Based on the responses collected daily, the tool presented indicators in interactive graphs capable of anticipating, in up to two weeks, trends of increase in cases. Updated until 2022, the panel supported public administrators in the early identification of changes in the epidemiological scenario, contributing to more agile evidence-based responses.
